I hear they may make the Phenox illigel for FP I would think long and hard before spending a greatdeal on one of these bats if they do a waste of $$$$$$$.

That rumor comes around a couple of times a year. It's not going to happen. The bat is approved, and grandfathered in. Since they're no longer made, they will fade into oblivion as bats break, wear out, get lost, stolen, etc, etc.
