Nine year old DD played in her first little league district championship tournament. 9/10 allstars.
Played four pool games winning all to get to the championship game. DD was starting pitcher in two of the four pool games and pitched a six inning, complete game in the championship game – striking out 16! (won 10-3)
For the district tournament in total, she started and pitched three out of five games, 14 of the 22 innings, with 38 strikeouts, and gave up five runs in three games. State tournament is next weekend.
