If I got this correct the circle goes like this. As it comes up (after back swing) the ball is facing 1st until 12 then its facing catcher with arm in a c shape, then it turns toward 3b at about 1 then is pulled down facing the sky with the elbow leading the way until the elbow, wrist ,and fingers snap at release.
Does anyone have any slo-mo video of the 12 o'clock to release portion.

If your DD got to be as good as either of those, I think she would do OK.

The arm should be straight until about 12, and at 12, the arm bends at the elbow.
