Its a natural closing of the hip in good timing with the brush and IR. If they were drilled to stay open at some stage it just has to be drilled back out of them. Simply throwing underhand at every practice in a relaxed manner like this really helped my DD.

Great stuff. We will continue this drill. Thanks

I've had decent luck teaching a better close by asking them to finish with the drive knee next to the other [not behind it]. This may be a little exaggerated in practice but seems to work just about right when they are in a game.

Right now she seems to have worked it out. Now it’s a consistency thing. Between not driving straight out and not closing and then drink f straight out and closing. It’s a process we will keep working on. Muscle memory will happen at some point.
