Interference, who's out?

If you have interference, someone is out. Who should be out depends on the code.
Pretty sure baseball umpires would say the runner is out.

Now that you mention it—-in baseball if less than 2 outs the runner is out.
‘With 2 outs the batter is out.
But in USA softball ( which is used by my HS association) the batter is always out.
