I understand I agree with time spent isolated to pitching and I too would not have pushed puttons!! I really believe we are on the same page.

Mike, thanks, my biggest concern is the safety of our DD's and of others.

Unless you are a pitcher with exceptional speed, the 43' rule will give the movement pitchers a leg up. IMO

I agree with Tojo. The pitchers who are likely to do best (outside of those with incredible speed) are the ones who can make the ball move. Girls who have relied on speed, but don't have incredible speed, or even a change of speed, will have a tougher time at 43'.

I guess I may have strayed from the subject of this thread. The 43' rule will affect the game that I enjoy so much. I believe that someone that works for 10 months during the year to get better and master the skill shouldn't be penalized just because some batters are not as prepared.I enjoy the low scoring defensive contest just as much if not more than the slugfest. We will know before long if it will improve the game.
