Actually after the girls beat us they wanted payment in the form of one chicken dance by all the parents. So dancing was done, but the girls wanted it.
We had a ball, I think the parent kid game in HS should be required before any actual matches are played. I think once parents see how fast things move, they will be a little quieter in the stands. My dd has a wicked serve, very fast, its on you in a second. I told her later I would much rather have her serve to me, then pitch to me. She says, well the serve might go right to your hands so you have a chance of hitting it.
