So tonight at practice I step pitched at our other AC. He’s played ball since high school. Only threw at his feet twice. And had weak contact twice. Feared for my life at each swing. Taking it as a win.

Every year I take my family camping for a week at the same campground. One of the best moments of the trip is when I play in the adult softball game every evening. My kids get to see me put my money where my mouth is when it comes to this Baseball/Softball stuff - I coach them both. It's priceless when the kids come up after and give me that "Wow Dad I'm impressed" pat on the back...then it's off to grab the Ibuprofen!

On a scale from 1-10 I’m a 2, but mostly due to arthritis in my shoulders which has gotten worse over the last 5 years or so. Before that though? Man, I was a solid 4.

I can still throw it and catch it without any problem. That running stuff??? I can hit it and still more than hold my own. Of course, I swing a bat all of the time. At 400+ years old, not bad.
