can someone explain why? pitching(fastpitch) is the same, or the differences, as hitting, in regards to the lower half?

Our new coach is great hitter, good stats, and this IS what she teaches.
Please feel free to not keep it simple.

Ok,(baseball not softball) confused on how he can turn his torso, with no RHP. KD, but nice separation.

It has nothing to do with you, be interesting to hear from some fast pitch pitching coaches like boardmember or maybe lenski

Yes I can see the rag wring, in the baseball pitcher.

Now on the Fastpitch pitcher.

The frontside Block, pushback? Closing the front side.

In the fastpitch mechanics, isn't the goal to NOT let the hip rotate to far?
Or, the shoulders?
What happens to the HLS, when you Close the front side?
Would HIP SLIDE become an issue?

In windmill pitching the stabilization of the hips can provide a sense of urgency for throwing the ball away from the body. A similarity in hitting would be hip extension.

So the hip extension in a swing can occur anywhere, towards ball in my swing thought, In the windmill, release is the same every time, or very close,

So, why Block, the front side with your stride?
