Hitting Seats

I saw this posted on Twitter by Nebraska. Anyone ever used one or tried these before? I think Nebraska might have just made them on their own.

I thought it might be nice to get one for the DD to use in the cage this offseason.

So, just get a stool. I've used a stool for this purpose for a very long time now.

In this, unlike the Nebraska picture, it doesn't look like there is really much "sitting" going on, but it acts as more of a support/guide to help with rotation??

As CB said it has been around for a long time. I think it was being used to get up from and swing to help with posture.

Steve Englishbey had a drill where the batter sat on one of those large exercise balls. That seemed more useful/dynamic to me

I've heard this cue used:

the hitters goal is to 'stay on the barstool'. Stay on his pedestal which is his rear leg.
