We entered competitive softball 2 years ago and thank goodness we were steered into hitting lessons. I have spent ALOT of money on ALOT of lessons. This years team is using a college coach (former player) for team hitting lessons and when she got to my daughter she said " you have pretty good mechanics", we can work on just hitting with more power. I felt bad for some who never invested or couldn't afford it. But my daughter And i also spent many nights in the garage in the winter soft tossing and doing tee work. A GOOD instructor is money well spent.
