What the hell does a diversity officer do? Some companies have a vice president of diversity. I have read their mission statements. A lot of gobbledygook circular statements with no concrete meaning. Platitudes on what we believe. blah blah blah. Love dont hate. Isn't that special. But the hamburger has no meat. Does diversity in the corporate setting mean that when considering someone for a promotion the corporation would give an edge to a POC or a women or non heteralsexual. How does the diversity officer diversify the workforce.
