My DD hurt her left (non-throwing) shoulder a couple of weeks ago. She can't really lift her left arm above shoulder height without a lot of pain. Anything under that, no pain and full range of movement.

She wanted to pitch last night in practice, threw to the girls bunting. Of course, couldn't get to the full "K" position, and pretty soon she wasn't throwing that arm up at all. I'm really concerned that she's going to develop bad habits at this point right now. I don't want her to throw full motion again until she truly can do it right.....but what could she be doing in the meantime? We don't go back to her PC until probably Wednesday, and she has a PT appointment right before then, so she's going to be hurting I'm sure.

Complete break from now on. No full motion pitching at all. Let her PC assess when she goes next week.

Get her to do work with her wrist.
