A lot of great replies. A huge issue with private instructors occurs when the private instructor and the team coach are not on the same page. Conflicting instruction from the coach and the private instructor can create a nightmare in a young girls head.

Also notice this conflict can happen.

Have heard of coaches in travel ball saying
"Its my team, i'm the coach. This is how i want this done"

When i hear this makes me chuckle...
Its like saying
"If you want someone else to teach you, go find another team"

Whats dfp feedback on this?

If I was a coach I wouldn't try to coach hitting mechanics unless asked to help. What I would do is tell my players is if you want to take extra BP just let me know and I will throw to you as much as you want...
