Glove to wear under catcher's mitt?

Hi DFP Folks,

My DD is a catcher for both her MS and TB teams. As of late, her glove feels very loose and slippery (likely due to her sweaty hands given the heat)! Do any of your DDs wear a glove under their catcher's mitt? She tried her batting glove, but it was too thick? Any suggestions welcomed.

Both of my catchers wear their batting glove under the mitt. We break our mitts in with the batting glove on, so fit is not an issue. I will say, however, that we go through several batting gloves in a season. That thing will start to smell like death in a shorter time because it basically never comes off in a game.

DD wears a Palmgard glove under her catcher's mitt.

DD has worn the palmguard for several years. They last about one year.

My daughter wears a padded catcher's glove, but prefers the fingerless one. Agree with InsidePitch...lasts about a year, but they aren't that expensive to replace.

Thanks for the recommendations. Compared to the other equipment, the Palm Guard is cheap!
