Hi there. DD is 14 playing 16U with a 12.5 glove. What size should she get in a catchers mitt? She has one, doesn't know the size, but says it's too small. Appreciate any advice, thanks!

When I first hear 16U I automatically think of a 34" mitt, but your DD being 14 it just depends on her hand size and what she's comfortable with. I bucket catch my DD and some other girls with a 33.5" All Star and never feel like I need more mitt. The 33" Vinci JCV-22 I just recently broke in is not a small mitt by any means, it wrapped up a 12" ball very nicely. The hand stall on my All Star is definitely larger than the hand stall on that Vinci. She just needs to try on a few different mitts. Contact Casedawg here and ask him his opinion.
