glove recommendation - mainly pitcher, 3B & 1B when infield

Years back when I was thinking of building Anna a custom, Rous tried to get me to order a 12” 206 with a vertical hinge web, he swore it was the best pitching web out there. Never got around to trying one though.

12.5” Pro302, pattern reminds me of the Vinci RV1961, narrow with a snug hand stall. A great pitching and 1B glove, not my first pick for 3B, but it would work.

Exactly, plus plays deeper than the normal two-piece pitching webs.

My daughter has a very similar web on her Pro Preferred. I'm not crazy about it because it will be a nightmare to relace, but she loves it. It's also harder to condition the laces than it would be with a standard closed web.

Is there a functional reason for split grey welting? She changed to tan.

I like it her design so good for her! The only thing I’d definitely change is the welting, rolled, colored welting just flat out sucks!

I know the split welting only comes in gray and black but I’d figure out which one would work for you. It just makes for a better built glove!

Love her multiple use of Vegas Gold!
