Fungo bat

For many years I've helped out with my son's baseball team and I always hit infield/outfield fungos with a big fungo bat. Unfortunately that bat broke and now I'm helping with my daughter's team. I have no experience with softball. Is a fungo bat just as useful in softball as it is in baseball? Are there fungo bats specifically for softball? My old bat was an ssk, but I'd be interested in any recommendations anyone else might have.

Fungo bats help in both baseball and softball. Louisville Slugger makes a larger fungo that would work well in softball its model number is K100.

I have an Easton F3, it's a 35"/22oz. infield/outfield fungo.

I have always used the same fungo for both baseball and softball. Never found a need to have a specialized bat for either sport.
