Please post your favorite hands inside drill.
Hands getting to far outside the optimal path towards the pitcher is hands outside. This is a reference to casting to early. If you would like to change the term and call it something else please do. Adding a drill and a comment would be nice.
Hands inside drill tee really inside at the front knee then front toss. inside or out side would be the same except for body turn, and although in these clips i do not, i would do alot of the drills in the SNF 45 position.
outside
inside
lots of variation helps.
I do not mind this clip of Bustos.
Hands above ball, hands inside ball, keep hands loaded.
can I see the proper way to see how to hit a ball above your neck? and inside.
As a matter of fact, as I look at it, I was just teaching someone how to keep their head ball side of that inside pitch.
I do not like or use SIDE TOSS, so there on that, but I like the low ball work, I use a traffic cone, pop bottle sounds a little more forgiving though.
Lots of my work with players resembles what I see her doing, staying connected on the turn, with still loaded hands, and pivot.
It will transfer over into a nice whip.
Mann, that last swing reminds me of the GIF you included in your post below.
Doesn't pass the Hanson Principle.
Please feel free to correct the drill. instead of just saying that is not correct?
My teams hit inside very well, along with outside. and i have quotes from opposing coaches in newspapers saying so.
But i have room to grow, so if my drill does not meet your approval please correct my approach, instead of saying it is wrong
my guess would be that my top hand forearm is to vertical?
This clip you posted does not correspond with the drill you posted above. The points of contact are actually a lot closer from inside to outside.
