That said not releasing the backfoot is atypical, I would agree.
I don't know..to me it just looks like she is hypermobileTo me Thome is different than hers. His rear foot action is like most good hitters, and then he has a return that sets his heel down after the swing is over. Hers seems to spin.
I see the same foot action for hitters who try to be completely 1 legged when hitting. That said not releasing the backfoot is atypical, I would agree.

Maybe not all, but majority is.This guy has all the pressure on rear of his foot (towards the catcher) when he launches..I don't see that with her.
Looks like the front part (towards the pitcher) of the foot is off the ground when he swings..no? Maybe I am seeing things..lol.Maybe not all, but majority is.
How about Votto?
One he is doing a feel drill, typicall used to feel coil in the rear leg/hip. So, that is different, but that drill is to learn to balance. He is trying to balance on one leg. The fact he is trying to balance is why the front part is off the ground some.Looks like the front part (towards the pitcher) of the foot is off the ground when he swings..no? Maybe I am seeing things..lol.
Yes I know..having all of the pressure on the rear of your foot when you swing is a shitty feel. One he is doing a feel drill, typicall used to feel coil in the rear leg/hip.
I didn't notice..thanksShe is hitting live pitching,
Meh..don't see it but I don't see a lot of things. That said, just because @Shawn liked it doesn't make it so...That's why IMO opinion she has the type of Gather and forward move that she does. She looks like aaron judge does or a Bo Bichotte.
