MAKO chest protector, according Easton's video, is setup for right handers. This is unfortunate because my daughter is a left hander. I hope Easton realizes that the paradigm is starting to change for left handed catchers and develops gear for left handed catchers as well. We'll probably be going with the Wilson gear now, or maybe a mixed setup. Thanks for all the replies, they've been very helpful.

Interesting that in spite of Mako being a baseball design, the girls don't seem to have a problem with the ergo leg guards.

Has anyone seen/tried the Vela gear from All-Star?

I've only seen the Wilson facemask and the shock absorbers seem like a brilliant idea. Due to School Ball requirements on catching equipment colors my DD needs new gear and this is a no brainer. Seems like this mask would cut down on concussions also.
