Side toss is OK, hit it into the fence. Same as a tee.

Maybe not Ideal but you need to work with what you have.

I want 4 or so hittting stations, TCB balls are not the anwser.

Side toss works well for rhythm and balance drills - i) hold the loaded position on the back leg for a few seconds, then hit side toss (develops balance in the loaded position), ii) walk ups into a side toss (develops timing and helps train the front shoulder/chin to the ball), iii) reverse top hand drill (teaches the feel of turning the barrel), and iv) Sue Enquist's drill where the batter swings continually and the tosser feeds her a side toss on every other swing (develops rhythm). These drills are easier to introduce with side toss and then can be progressed into front toss.
