Thanks to all you guys on here Ive developed a pretty good understanding of how to teach girls fastpitch swing mechanics. I will be coaching boys soon. Ive come up with an approach to teach girls what if anything should I do different for the boys.
1. the wide stance, bend at waist, soften knees, tap helmet w/bat 45, create rythym, load/stride softly slowly flexed front knee, lead elbow goes up ramp, contact at L, unhinge at contact, extend up and over. I use Howards hand over drill.. and will soon use the walk up or face the fire drill. Thanks Eric!
