A little up date, since the mandatory hitting adjustment by her college coach with 2 strikes DD advised strikeouts are down slightly for the team and so is the batting averages, DD BA has dropped over 100 points or to 345. She did advise that she and others are getting more aggressive early in the count to avoid the 2 strike count. I think they have played 14 games since it was made mandatory. DD did go 6 for 8 yesterday and her 345 average does not reflect that yet and they have 2 more games today.
IMO have every player make an identical adjustment is not the best solution.
Forgot to add, DD has had to use the adjustment 3 times, a strikeout, ground out to pitcher and a single she fought off and hit on the handle. She had only struck out one other time this year.
