Bummer that the camera is positioned right behind the umpires lane on RHB, it makes it impossible to see the work catchers put in. Ha, when I'm in charge of location, its off the the right side of the plate so we can see the catcher!!

Either way, nice ball in the dirt block and the runner going.

This was a fun one! Maddie and the runner were teammates for 2 years (14U), and very close friends. Of course, this means the competition between them is all that much more intense.

The batter and 2 others were also 14U teammates. After the game, it was all hugs and laughter. :)

Looks like the Big League Dreams parks.... which one? My DD has 2 games in the Chino park tomorrow. I'm not a fan of them to be honest. $$ and not allowed to bring your own food or drinks.

That was Chino Hills (Ebbets).

Pro tip: The min. wage workers at the gate really don't care what's in your backpack or in your DD's bag. Keep it below "first look" level, and it's all good. Don't roll in with an ice chest in a cart.

Well, they are MUCH more relaxed about what you bring in now compared to previous years with my older DD. They don't really check anything really now (Covid = can't touch other peoples stuff). Previous years it was like going through TSA at the airport minus the 3D Total Recall body scanner. lol

All good today! Nice and sunny warm day, felt like softball weather for sure. We were on the Fenway Park field today. Definitely needs some paint touch up on the "green monster".
