Would the bottom gif be considered legal if the back foot was still in contact with the plate? Everything else being equal.
I've been told as long as the push/pivot foot is above the plate then its perfectly legal. So looking at the Edwards clip her push foot is not "on" the plate, but the heel is above the plate.
