Right on. Remember, you're not sliding the right leg just for giggles... in fact, it centers on it's own as a result of rearward weight transfer and taking a wider initial stance. The key is to make it part of balance...
Syd is sliding it... rather than letting it center, PC. It should be part of the lean... not slide, then lean then go. Start the lean during the transfer of weight rearward. Also, get her to keep the elbow into her body, behind the side seam of her shirt.
