I looked up DD's old local rules, could not cut and paste it.
Basically if a player cannot bat the coach has the option of taking her out for the rest of the game and with no out.
Otherwise take an out and she can stay in the game.
I do not recall anyony trying to take advantage of this rule but you could if you wanted to.
