Salutations:

In today's blog, Marc commented on seeing many players with gloves that are too large for them.

I have a 11-12 year old team; some players parents have little experience or knowledge. What size of glove would you generally recommend? 12 - 12.5"?

Thanks.

My understanding is that if you play with a 12" ball you will need a 12" (or larger) glove. My 9yo (about 4'-6") has an 11" glove and they use an 11" ball. But if she was to use a 12" ball she would still use that same glove. It's as big as she can handle effectively. She also generally plays infield where a smaller glove is ok.
