In another thread I sluggers mentioned hi DD had thrown full frames (standing open, making a full arm circle, not using leg drive) around 50 mph and cruised full motion around 60MPH. I saw another website in which the pitching coach reference the same 10 MPH difference. Has anyone else done this and if so, can you share your results?. My DD is 14 and throws full frames consistently 45-46. Her best full motion is 56 but not consistent. Usually throws low 50's. I'm hoping that this 10MPH difference is achievable and she'll be in the 60's as she gets older.

My dd is 13 and hits 48-5 with no leg drive, her new PC gunned her in a game at 52-53
using leg drive. Speed is nice, but as the girls get older, location of the pitch trumps
speed every time. PC instructs dd that if she is going to miss with a pitch, don't let that miss be
down the middle. As she develops physically she will improve with practice
