Anyone gearing up for HS Softball tryouts?

First day of off season practice started today. Because coach can only work with 3 girls at a time, its spread out over half the da. DD had the 8:30 session, man it was nice to have my cup of coffee in my hand and watching her trudge out in the snow to her own car and drive herself there. 16 = freedom (well some freedom)

is also means "get the check book out"....but not playing cabby every waking moment is some freedom for sure!...(well some freedom)

let us know how your DD's tryouts go and how she does this season .....maybe you can help teach us TB coaches how to "understand" HS softball better, because it's really pretty hard to figure out....and hopefully it won't take 5 months to get in your 25-30 games like it does in some of the smaller, more glorious states....
