That is great but make sure that YOU also understand it. This is a team effort and you both need to get it. An athlete cannot become successful in a vacuum. Someone must be there for them to instruct, motivate, and hold them accountable. Like it or not, and I think you do, that is your role. You need to make sure she understands and executes the mechanics properly. Despite what OLIF may say, leaving an athlete to their own devices to figure it out is the path to failure.

Yes, I do understand that I must help in her progress and unfortunately for her, I am no softball expert. Softball is something positive in her life that she enjoys doing and she works hard in school to get good grades. Even for TB, no good grades=no softball... Besides that, it is a lot better choice than chasing boys or other mischievousness a teenage girl can get into.
