How about something like a 4'x6' heavy rubber stall mat? We have a large garage, so the distance is ok. This is Oregon, so we are stuck indoors for 1/2 the year....

If you can start a pitcher out in the beginning of her wind up correctly it will save you a lot of grief!! Have her concentrate on two things at this point.
* Push straight before opening. Pivot foo needs to start straight so hips dont turn before pushing.
* Have her bring her glove to her left leg. If she goes across her body that arm will swing across her line and continue to travel far left and cause several problems. (harder to achieve reverse posture, premature closing of the right side) Have a another line to the left of her power line for her glove arm to travel so she achieves reverse posture (weight back) and so her glove goes up & then down. The glove arm is sooo important!! Use it properly and it will save u a lot of grief.
