How about saying that the Tennessee pitcher is throwing "backdoor curves to the right handers."

Misidentifying a backdoor curve is epidemic in softball commentary. Nobody's ever explained to them what it means and they just say it because it's a thing they heard and never actually thought about.

I also heard from the three-headed monster that because the batters lower body was fast, the upper body was slow. WTH??

My favorite of all time was from a basketball game:

"The Bulldogs have trouble winning when they're behind."

I conducted a statistical analysis of all games across all sports. After carefully pouring through the data, I found that 99% of the time, the team behind does, in fact, lose.

In the Florida State-Tennessee game (just now) after two illegal pitches were called:
"I've watched her pitch all year and she hasn't been called for anything illegal."
So we should allow her to continue to crow-hop?
