6 yr old first year of fast pitch... looking for tips

Need tips to correct a chop down swing “chopping wood”. I have used a tee and put it up high and low, no matter where I put it she still wants to chop at the ball. I use a swing stick also, and still tries to chop. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

maybe do two tee drill. two tees, on in front of other (say 18 inches to 2 feet), slightly higher. goal is to knock ball of tee in front with ball from first tee.

This is toe touch to hip slot.

Notice that his hands stay near the armpit.

I'm guessing DD throws her hands at the ball, away from the armpit.

Work on dry drills, no ball, and keep the hands near the armpit, until the back elbow nears the hip/belt. (Also take the back elbow down to the belt)
