This year the Missy Molina Tournament will be a 5 game guarantee
Three games in Pool Play into the double elimination tournament. A game ball will be provided for each game you play.
IF you lose the ball it is your responsiblity to provide one. Balls will be on sale at the tournament for $6 per ball. Umpires will be provided and paid for by the tournament. There MUST be a miminum of 4 teams in an age group to hold the tournament.
The first 16 paid in each age group will be accepted. Depending on numbers in each age group will decide if more teams can be added. Home team will be the official scorekeeper and their will be tournament directors at each of the three complexes to receive and update pool play and brackets. This site here is awesome at doing it immediately for all fans to see.
Pool Play will be 1 hour and 15 minutes NO DROP DEAD FINISH THE INNING. Tournament Play will be 1 hour and 20 minutes NO DROP DEAD FINISH THE INNING. NO TIES immediately go to international tie breaker. The local association wants to make sure you get your money worth and not each game be a two inning and costing big bucks. Pay attention get your money worth at all tournaments.
AWARDS: Will first be based on number of teams in each age group
There will be 1st - 3rd Place Team Awards Individual awards for 1st, 2nd, 3rd place teams PLUS $100 gas card for each of the 1st place teams.
This is an ASA sanction event and all teams must be ASA registered and be able to show proof team is ASA and HAS insurance. Your RegisterASA card does this for your team. Teams from OUT OF STATE will be ask to bring a travel permit from their State Commissioner. We know ASA rules do not require travel permits, but for this tournament we are requiring them.
No hiding of teams can see as each one signs up and when they paid and were approved. Will need to bring your standard roster and it is an open tournament which means you can have players that are not on your regular season roster, but can only be on one team roster at the tournament.
