Given a choice between the Wilson A2000 or the Rawlings Revo, which one would you choose? The Revo is pretty much game ready off the rack. How long does the Wilson take to break in?

Thanks in advance for your input.

It really depends on the level and amount of ball she plays and the life expectancy you have for the mitt. The A2000 will probably take 3-4 weeks of steady use to get game ready. If she plays TB and other levels year round, don't skimp on the leather just for a few weeks difference in break in time. Of the two, I would go with the Wilson but the Revo is a nice mitt too.

We (Vinci) make two levels of 1B mitts to cover a wider spectrum of players for just that question.

Thank you casedawg. Daughter plays TB and catcher is primary position. To save her legs this season she'll get more time at 1B so looking for something short term. We will look into the Vinci product as well.

Thanks again.
