I don't know this family or this player, but I do believe in the power of prayer and positive thoughts.
Here is a link to a thread on KC Fastpitch about a 12U player that was playing softball about a month ago. Now she is in Children's Mercy Hospital in Kansas City fighting cancer, specifically leukemia.

I know we argue about details as a community. I know we can get wrapped up in petty human emotions at times as a community.
BUT, I also know that all of us are here for the betterment of the sport and the players. Here is a player that could use all the positives we can bring to bear as a community.
