My dd is 13. She been putting in hard work. We have so far yet to go. If my dd came to you for a lesson what would be the first thing you would work on?

I would say nice job! A lot more right than wrong in my opinion. The thing that sticks out to me that could maybe be better is brush and upper arm stabilization.
I believe if you got her back foot more laces toward the catcher, her hips would be more at the 45 degree angle you need to achieve brush and stabilization. I'm just a bucket dad though, so she wouldn't be coming to me Hopefully some of the PCs will chime in

I think you're smarter at this than you've given yourself credit for...

Yep.... good brush, and awesome resistance. She's really explosive off the rubber... so much so that her left foot may be loosing contact with the rubber before the launch.(Illegal pitch) Don't try to change that, just make her aware that both feet must be in contact with the rubber prior to the bodies forward motion.

If she were my student, we'd be working on different spins hard and heavy as well as MAN10's suggestions of getting a touch more brush by adjusting some timing in regards to the arm circle and the front leg. This will also affect the hip angle.
She also closes her shoulders a bit too much. This will come into play when learning the rise and screwball......
Mechanically speaking, either you or her PC have done a wonderful job so far! congrats to her!!!

Thank you so much for the kind words! This site has contributed to her mechanics greatly! Last spring she was a mechanical mess! And January she injured her shoulder. After PT and clearance from her dr. She went to work.....major tear down and rebuild! I studied everything on this site....we found a new PC. And so far so good! She is working on a drop ball and curve.....no where near game ready. She has a great change up and will throw it any where in the count. She is just now starting to come in to her own. I am so thankful for this site...I can't express it enough. What is the best way to work on spins and stay on top mechanics???

Wow, just not sure I could help the back heel up slightly more arm stabilization were also what got me, then after reading the comments and really triple examining the video the arm stabilization looks OK...although on youtube channel it looks like she had a video from a few months ago were it looked worse maybe it was just the pitch she was throwing? I would try and reduce the back foot drag look at the still you posted at this point she should be on the toe laces to the catcher at a very minimum heel should be well off the ground.

She probably is not even noticing it but have her try this...get into position just like she is in your still or maybe even 9 oclock as in this picture with her heel basically grounded. Now have her lift her heel off the ground laces to the catcher like Amanda in the still and see if she feels her hip release it should be pretty noticeable. She currently does not lift her heel and consequently fully release her hip until after ball release.

All in all she looks GREAT!! there is always room for improvement but she should get with a good pitching coach that will work with her on pitches and spin without messing with all the large muscle mechanics that she has pretty much down (edit; I promise I was composing this and did not read Coach James post first..lol). One other little thing I can't tell if her hand is under the ball at 9 oclock or not because its too far.
