Personally, with her no stride I feel like she's doing more spinning in place vs driving her hips. That doesn't look like her game swing so next time she swings I'll remind her to change nothing but her back leg. In her game swing she just takes a small step then swings. I have plenty of swings of her from behind, but nothing from the side as I have my camcorder mounted to the fence.

She do any legitimate strength and conditioning? I still believe people are kind of tilting at windmills in trying to pursue a high level swing without a seriously strong core

She does a very serious strength routine. 4 days a week, body building routine. She actually has questioned about going into competitive weight lifting.

What is your definition of "pulling off of the ball"?

Her right elbow maintains the angle at and after contact instead of extending out causing the bat to, what I call, "pull off the ball" left, prematurely robbing her of maximum power. The reason I noticed this is my DD tends to get her right arm tucked into her body and never gets full extension causing a lack of home run hitting power. She loves the inside pitch as her swings promotes a "pull" but it's difficult for her to "get to" the high or low, pitch., with a bent right elbow (rhb). Hope that makes sense.

I'd like to continue that line of thought and hear it out. I see what rocketech is talking about, though I don't know if it has anything to do with power or not. I think it comes back to her lack of wrist movement and whip. When she hits I can often see a "cut" to the ball vs backspin. However, power is zero issue here. I don't say that to be stuck up, instead I want her to be able to deliver optimum power to all fields. On her current team she hits in the 5 spot, almost always with runners on, and the coach asks her to hit opposing mosts at bats. She has no issue going opposing. However, she rarely pulls the ball. When she goes all out, she usually goes right up the middle. (I actually fear for pitchers, in the 4 games she's played she's missed the pitcher by inches twice.)

Your DD has no 'whip'. DD is using her rear elbow as a pivot point and not her hands. DD is also a spinner. As for the rear elbow it needs to get through. The rear elbow now is following the spinning of the body around and not 'out from' the body. Maybe, because she thinks she has to finish in a certain position.

Ok, better swing from today. This is closer to her real swing, but trying not to collapse the rear leg. Shouldn't be as much spinning in place on this one. https://youtu.be/DHISQVpnSXo I agree on the elbow and wrists, but I only have her work on one thing at a time.

Work on using the hands...and maybe the other things will work better supporting the hands. Just a thought......

Just because you added ER to the rear leg didn't stop the spinning. Just has the rear leg turning back with the shoulder rotation, lead by the elbow load.

Not my style of hitting. Again JMHO maybe others will dis-agree with my critic.
Again rear elbow needs to get through.
