Clicked on the above link ... watched/listened to the video ... was working on something else in parallel, and so the next video in sequence came up (below). Perhaps this will be helpful .

I didn't say it was earth shattering, unified theory of physics-type information ...Do you a) have a problem with what is said b) not
think it is relevant to the conversation in this thread or c) just feel like giving me a tough time this morning ;)

Thanks guys. She strides when hitting off the tee. I windmill pitch to her and she gets a little stride in though she's always a little late. During the game she never strides and drops her hands as soon as she moves her leg.

What drills do I use to get her to stride earlier? And how do I keep her from moving her upper body forward at the same time?

Seeking clarification .... you want to teach your daughter to stride and not move her body forward ... is that correct?

She isn't striding, "separating", etc because she doesn't have time to do any of that because she is starting too late. You can use the tee to work on her mechanics
but the timing, with respect to a moving ball, of her movements is only going to be fixed by throwing to her. Place an L-screen 10 to 15 feet away and throw at her with a speed which will simulate game speed. As I said
pay attention to when she is getting her body prepared to launch her swing. Give her some fake throws, and see if she is moving at all. Have her watch some HL hitters, softball and baseball,
and make sure she is paying attention to what they are doing before the ball is pitched to prepare to hit.

In my opinion in order for her to improve she is going to have to be hitting live pitching 3 or 4 times a week, 300-400 pitches a week at least. You do that, while paying attention
to the timing aspects, she will improve to the point where you can start working on her mechanics (e.g. the timing of her body parts as they relate to each other e.g. sequence, etc. )

No. She starts moving her hands and back elbow forward at the same time as she strides so she doesn't get any separation. So are there any drills to get her to move her hands back while she's striding or do I just yell at her all the time to step when my arms at 12 o'clock which is what's happening.
