Couple of freshened up Heart of the Hides!

Still can't get used to how the Trapz look. Personally cant stand them. The HotH are damn nice gloves though.

Never owned one before, heck never wanted to own one either, now I own two! Coming from someone who loves H-webs, there is no better formed pocket out there than a well broken in trap glove!! My 6-finger Pro12TC is just a 12" glove and the pocket is just perfect. I have to agree with you Drakemir, or used to agree with you........I was like "why would anyone want that stupid looking web??" Of course they're not really infield gloves because of no reinforcement at the top of the web, or at least that's what I used to think........my Rawlings Pro12TC trap is the exact glove Ozzie Smith used to use! Yep, probably the best and most famous SS ever used a 6-finger trap glove!

Being a novice to the glove buying experience, what about new laces suck compared to replacement laces?

They stretched terribly, they were just like a flimsy shoestring. I seriously could pull them apart and break them with my hands! My All-Star catchers mitt, every Vinci I've ever owned except for my very first custom 4 years ago and even the last few Rawlings have all had terrible laces! I know Drakemir hates me saying this, but if Vinci would start using Tanners lace, or a lace like Tanners, Vinci's would start going from a really good glove to a great glove, especially with the improvements they've made to their thumb & pinkie inserts. With the bulk they buy in now, how much more could buying a higher quality lace actually cost?

chardrok, I wish I could put my Don Morton Rawlings Pro12TC in your hands with ANY other glove of your choice and let you make the comparison and see for yourself.
