I'm looking for the true weight of any of the Stealth Flex bats. I've heard they are running closer to sticker weight than any of the older Stealth's or Mako's. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

We just put a 33" -10 model on a scale and it came in at 23.8 ounces. They are running pretty close to sticker weight, give or take an ounce.

Thanks for the data. It has been added to the http://www.discussfastpitch.com/softball-equipment-product-reviews/20034-bat-weight-database.html. Feel free to PM me any more info, if you feel so inclined.

Based on the two examples we have so far, it looks like the Flex may be fairly close to sticker weight - a rarity for Easton.

I was pretty shocked at that too! I am told they swing lighter than "same" size Mako.

DD #1 hit her first college home run with a Stealth Flex in an exhibition type game a couple days ago.

Baseball monkey has a promo code that will take 25% off the Stealth Flex bats. Code is: BLKFRI25. It's good through this Sunday.

Are there any particular models that you are looking for? Shoot us a message with the bats you are wanting to add to the database and we'll get 'em on the scale. Thanks!

Excellent! I think the next step in bat comparisons will be a measurement of where the balance point of a bat is- how far from the barrel or knob the bat will balance. A measure of "end loaded-ness". This is definitely related to how heavy a bat swings or "swing weight".

You are welcome to take on that project. :)

No way Bro! I see the work you made for yourself being helpful!

BTW, I appreciate the BWD. Not a bad day, I made up a new word and a new DFP Common Term or Abbreviation.

Honestly, the most "work" has been done by Core. He has been diligent about sending me weights when he receives a shipment of new models. He weighs every bat, not just one of each size. The weighing and recording process takes longer than my input process.

Glad to hear that the BWD is helpful. :)
