Good morning..

I'm hoping someone could recommend a bat pack for an 8U/10U player. We went to Dick's last night to get an idea on sizes.. not a huge selection... and they were either way too small and couldn't fit helmet (Under Armour Hustle Jr. and Easton 100P) or way too big (Easton Walk Off).

Does anyone know of a pack that they could recommend that is somewhere in the middle of those two sizes?

Misunderstood your question. :)

At 8U DD had a bag she carried around, she has so much crap now she has one the backpack things like the Easton Walk Off.

The rolling bags seem to fall apart really easily. We've had 2,one was a Boombah. Current team is doing Louisville Slugger backpacks. We haven't gotten them yet so I'm not sure what kind or if I'll like them yet.

My very small 12u DD has a LS 7 series and she's able to fit everything in there. Helmet, glove, cleats, 2 bats, fielding mask and more.

Before you go buy a new bat pack, I would check with your DD's TB team to find out if they are ordering them as a team. A lot of teams like for the girls to have matching bat bags, with the team logo and player number embroidered on them. If you are on your own, we have had good luck with a 3n2 bat pack that my DD used for 2+ years.

The Diamond BPacks or IX3 Backpacks are pretty nice and have plenty of space for everything. They are larger than most backpacks out there and her team is on their 4th year with them. We may have to replace some of them but they seem to hold up pretty well. My DD's whole organization uses them, from 10U up.

Lots to choose from out there. I do like the L7 Louisville slugger bat back. Sleek and not overpriced. The other one we tried out this year was the Schutt bat bags. Comfort wise great and fits helmet, glove two bats and facemask with room to spare. Not to big either
