I am a big fan of the Cobra XL Maxball Catcher's bag. It has traveled with us all over the country on airplanes and in cars. The current bag is on year #2 (which is truly remarkable). DD didn't want a new bag from her team this year, she opted to keep the old one. Comes in lots of fun colors too....

FWIW, last year we had to return the Boombah Beast bag. As the kids get older the gear gets bigger and she couldn't efficiently get it in and out quickly, especially with a bunch of stray water bottles in there as well...

The Boombah Beast is not big enough for older players for sure. And the mesh rips out of the bottom like it was made to do that. Very disappointed in the Beasts we have had in the past.

My DD is currently using a Boombah Beast, and it's been very good (except the mesh pocket ripping a little). If you're looking for a large single-compartment bag, the Boombah Brute might be a better call.

All that said, I have been pretty impressed with what I have seen of the No Errors bag.

Is the beast big enough for everything? DD likes the look of that one better than the Brute...

My DD's Beast currently contains...
Batting helmet (main compartment)
Catcher's helmet (main)
Chest guard (main)
Leg guards (side pockets)
Fielders glove (main)
Catcher's mitt(main)
2 bats (back)
2 pr batting gloves (small front pocket)
1 pr wrist guards (small front pocket)
2 (3?) visors (top pocket)
Fielders mask (top pocket)

A few more small items would fit.

I've seen a lot of reviews about the No Errors bag wearing out very quickly. Seems to rip the seems out. Anyone have a comment about their experience with it?

Aren't the Boomba Beast and the Cobra XL Catchers bag the same exact bag except for the handle, bottom rails and other small differences? They even have the same dimensions. My daughter has a Beast, and when I look at the Cobra, they look the same.

They are very similar, we have both (bags are piling up in the garage, lol.) I think the Cobra XL has a couple of features that make it a little better - the skid rails on the bottom and the sewn on j-hooks to hang the bag on chain link fences being the main advantages. Either one is way better than DeMarini, where the zippers blew out within the first two months of use.

DDs team ordered bags for entire team, including catchers, ugghhhh. Demarini Momentum bag, description says not meant for catchers, and it really is too small, but on demarini website, shows a pic with catchers gear in it (sans catchers helmet since it would not fit probably), deceptive advertising. I was barely able to get all her gear in there, and I am certain she will have trouble, especially when they have to vacate dugout quickly. manufacturers also never seem to take facemasks on batting helmets or kneesavers into account.

I wish coach would have consulted with catchers and catchers' parents before ordering. I would gladly have paid difference or been given credit on fees to be able to order a more suitable bag. hate this nonsense as well, have to have all bags match team colors. helmets is one thing, but bags, for a B/C level 12u team, way down the list. do not do this for other gear (bats, gloves, shoes), and with good reason, since these are highly individualized, why bags?
