Rest in peace. Prayers for the family.
A change up should be kept low so that if the hitter does time it, they have to make the secondary adjustment of going down to hit the ball also. 2 movements in the hitter doubles their chance of a bad swing. The combo of being able to read the pitcher's change up early and doing a backflip to keep it up in the zone is a deadly combo. - Bill Hillhouse

met Chris a few times, as his DDs/my DD teams played in some of the same tournaments here in the NE.

Good guy, very generous with his time. Cared a lot about developing the proper skills in young players.
    He will be missed.

I got a lump in my throat when I read this. 49 years old is way too young to go. Prayers sent to his family and many thanks for all his contributions to the world of softball.

I was fortunate enough to meet Chris when DD was making the transition to IR via javasource. The guy exuded softball passion. Iím so shocked and saddened. Definitely one of the good guys who will be missed. RIP Chris
