Well, I'm a little late to the dance, but I'm glad everything went well!

FWIW- my wife (who has a high tolerance for pain) would be taken to her knees in pain from her Gallbladder before she had it out. (I think she was sometimes on the floor). so I'm sure your DD was in some serious pain when she wound up in the ER.

(just in case your DD needed any validation )

She started with severe pain and vomiting! She has a high pain tolerance and was begging to go to the ER! She feels so much better already. She has been having pain for about 3 weeks and actually played in a showcase with an attack! She is a tough kid, for sure.

My daughter had the same thing, at 17. I thought she had pulled a muscle. We checked everything - and then, the gall bladder. I think she was out of softball 6 weeks.

Only out 2 weeks for my DD. It was done laparoscopic so much shorter recovery. She had been complaining of abd pain for weeks but nobody wanted to check her gallbladder. Kept saying that 15 was too young.
