Maddie lead her 10U team to a solid 12-2 victory today going 3-for-3 with a 2-run HR, a grand slam, and an RBI single for a total of 7 RBIs on the day. She also was her typical catcher-beasty self behind the plate. Unfortunately, not very many people are giving her a chance to pick off runners, and her one throw to 2B was bobbled by our backup SS (a noobie player who is progressing very well).

We lost all our real 10U pitching talent to travel before the start of the spring rec season, so getting to Santee isn't at all realistic whether my DD is in the mix or not. That's a big part of why we are moving on before all-stars.
Although we are leaving the league, I think my connections are good enough to get NECC back to the same field in January.
