The fact that you have to subscribe to the Web site to even see the rankings is ludicrous. That should be very telling what it’s all about and how legit the rankings are.

Not the point, nor funny. New management came in and promoted all these changes and they’ve shown to be incredibly poor at one of their first endeavors, which is the simple task of ranking teams. Given so many public resources like Tourney Machine and GameChanger, this should be pretty easy to do.

“We still welcome the coaches’ submissions which will be considered by our rankings committee.” Guess you missed that part. If EIS ranking is so important to you (and by your posts it clearly is) maybe you should have spent the 10 minutes to shoot them an email to make sure they even knew your 2028 team existed. You really expected them to go through your GameChanger? Now that is funny.

Why are you so concerned about these rankings?

You can see what teams are ranked on Facebook for free as they tag them in the comments and the rankings are just in groups.

Stupidity annoys more me, and if my DD’s team gets ranked #1 in the region, it will still annoy me.

My DD’s team will probably be ranked #1 in the region, and that will annoy me, because there are teams better that didn’t make the top 10. You are missing the point. I’m not talking about where they are ranking my DD’s team, but where they are ranking others team.

I just checked out the FB page. People on there are so funny about what gets them fired up. These are 13-14U teams…..come on….😂

Coaches submissions come with some form of payment, yes?

USSSA tournaments around here are rec ball, at best. The top 18U teams would get destroyed by regional teams every time out.

Why would anyone put any stock in the rankings, unless their team was paying to be ranked? Go out and play the game, and stop worrying about what EIS cares about anyone.

We are a 2010 team, mostly 2028's. I would be shocked if our coach submitted anything. I also believe he will do a good job with college coaches. It's 8th grade I really don't care.
