Excellent stuff guys especially with the lean at launch. We will work on addressing that next. She does very well throwing strikes and hitting spots. Just average speed wise. Throwing around 50 mph which is the average around here for travel ball. Of course we have some girls throwing upper 50's...- leerph

Yep. Still working on snapping the hips and getting the laces to the catcher. When she has the glove swim she gets a good hip snap. When we started working on fixing the glove swim it made it hard for her to keep snapping the hips and she started "kicking the bucket". She said that getting her...- leerph

Is this a legal steal?
Playing against a local college team last Saturday. They run this delayed steal. Ump allowed it. I always thought that if the pitcher was in the circle with the ball and the runner hasn't already made a move towards second that they couldn't then take off for second. Oh yeah! We are huge chipola fans and watched Jake many a time in the circle there. The coaches are fantastic. They are just so busy right now with their season they don't have time to work with her. Help finding lost speed
It was her drive leg (left). Not sure she did anything in particular. Just over use probably. She does drag the entire side of that foot too much for my liking and never really gets the laces pointed to the catcher. Maybe that foot drag is what caused the strain even. Help finding lost speed
